Journey with us to Ladakh, the roof of the world. Starting in Delhi we make our way up through the Himalayas surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty until we reach Kashmir. After 13 incredible days we finish off our final 2 days in Delhi with a bonus tour of the famous Taj Mahal.
Schedule of Himalayas to Ladakh Tour
Day 01 : Delhi to Chandigarh
After arrival in Delhi airport we will make our way to Chandigarh by private car.
After the Partition of India in 1947, the former British province of Punjab was also split between east Punjab in India and west Punjab in Pakistan. The Indian Punjab required a new capital city to replace Lahore, which became part of Pakistan during the partition
Day 2 Chandigarh to Manali
Wake up early morning to enjoy breakfast and after we will begin our drive to Manali, at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,726 ft) The Beas River Valley where we will stay the night is a hill station nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal. This place is famous for adventure and apples, as well as hot springs known as Vashisht Temple.
Day 3 Manali Sightseeing
Today we will enjoy in hill station, do some shopping and visit the hot springs. Adventure activities can be arranged for the adventurous!
Day 4 Manali to Jispa
After breakfast at the hotel we will drive to travel across Rohtang Pass (3978 m / 13127 feet) to reach Jispa at a height of 3300metres / 1100 feet in the Lahaul district. We will over night at a Hotel in Jispa and in the evening time we will walk to see the beautiful monastery.
Day 5 Jispa to Sarchu
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Ahead of jispa, cross Baralacha La at 4830 m and reach thewindswept Sarchu landscape at 4253 m /14035 ft. Overnight in deluxe camps with swiss tents and ensuite washrooms in Serchu.
Day 6 Sarchu to Leh Ladakh
After breakfast in the camps we will drive for the last leg of Leh. Many changing landscapes and high mountain passes. One reaches Leh after crossing Gata Loops, Lachunglang La (5019 m / 16560 feet), Pang, Moore Plains, Tanglang La (5360 m / 17688 feet) and Rumtse. Over night in Hotel at Leh
Day 7 Leh City
Today we wil relax in the hotel and aclimatize to the altitude and take in the peace and quiet and fresh air.
Day 8 Leh City and Temple Tour
After breakfast we acclimatized to the weather of Leh and also the height at which it is situated. Better rest in the morning. After taking your lunch, go for sightseeing. Visit the Sankar Gompa, Shanti Stupa and the Leh Palace,Tisky monastery Get back to the hotel in the evening and stay overnight at Leh.
Day 9 Leh to Nubra Valley
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Nubra Valley (via the world’s highest motorable road at Khardongla pass at 18380 ft.) . Arrive at Nubra, which is a whole new world and experience the real Ladakh and sand dunes. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
Day 10 Back to Leh
Today we will just relax at hotel and evening walk around in the market
Day 11 Leh to Pandong Lake
After an early breakfast we drive to Pangong Tso Lake. From Leh you will reach Karu, an Army campon Leh-Manali road and then turn left and cross Chang La Pass (5360 m, 17590 f)and finally to Tangtse. The main gateway for the changthang plateau situated in the Himalayas. We’ll follow a rough mountain road that will lead to the magical Pangong Lake And back to hotel . 215 km
Day 12 Flight to Kashmir
Instead of the long journey by road we will fly from leh to Kashmir to save our time for the crown of india, fondly known as Paradise on Earth. After arrival the evening is for enjoying a Shikara Ride in Dal Lake called the Venice of India & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. While returning visit to the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machie & wood of a walnut. Dinner & Overnight stay at the Deluxe Houseboat
Day 13 Kashmir Sightseeing
After Breakfast Transfer by cab to full Day excursion of Gulmarg, called as“Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg is 52 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. Gulmarg is a famous Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time. You can enjoy a Pony ride (Optional At your own cost). Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori (12,293 ft) first stage and Affarwat Peak (13,780 ft) second Stage on a Cable Car Ride (Optional At your owncost). By evening return to houseboat.
Day 14 Fly back to Delhi
After breakfast we take our anticipated visit of the 7 wonder in world – the exquisite Taj mahal ,followed by the Red Fort.
Day 15 Day in Delhi
We reserve our final day to visit one of Delhi’s icons – the Lotus Temple and after that shopping in bustling Delhi to finish your holiday.
