"I had the most wonderful two-week journey through India organized by Spiritual India Tours! The tour was very well planned, we had amazing accommodations, delicious food and the local tour guides were all very competent and friendly! Our guide Raj took very good care of us and I would definitely recommend travelling with Spiritual India!"
"Raj is a kind, intelligent and helpful guide who takes into consideration all the needs of the group and makes you feel comfortable, safe and confident. "Words cannot capture all of the gratitude that I and our group have for Raj Sharma's organization, passion, kindness and reliability. Our time in Rishikesh would not have been the same without his native knowledge and community connections. We always had the best access to restaurants, Ayurvedic doctors and astrologers. I will definitely be coming back!"

Absolutely yes. This tour is specifically designed to be accessible and comfortable for first-time visitors to India. Many of our past travellers were visiting India for the first time and found the journey deeply transformative.

A single room upgrade is available on request for an additional supplement. Please contact us for current single supplement pricing.
Yes, most nationalities require a visa to enter India. The good news is that India offers a convenient e-Visa (electronic visa) which can be applied for online before travel. Your visa is included in the tour package and our team will guide you through the application process well in advance of departure.
We recommend packing light and comfortably. Key items include:
- Modest, comfortable clothing (shoulders and knees covered for temple visits)

- Comfortable walking shoes and sandals
- A light rain jacket (September can bring occasional showers)
- Sunscreen, insect repellent and a personal first aid kit

Travel insurance is not included in the package but we strongly recommend all participants take out comprehensive travel insurance before departure. This should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost luggage and repatriation. Please ensure your policy covers travel to India and trekking or high-altitude activities if you plan to visit Badrinath (approx. 3,100m altitude).
We keep our groups intentionally small to ensure a personal, intimate and deeply meaningful experience. Our typical group size is between 8 to 16 participants. This allows for flexibility in the itinerary, closer connection among travellers, and more attentive support from our guide and team.
Badrinath sits at approximately 3,100 metres (10,170 feet) above sea level. While the town is accessible by road, some travellers may experience mild altitude sickness — symptoms include headache, fatigue or shortness of breath. We recommend staying well hydrated, avoiding alcohol and taking it easy on arrival. Our guide is experienced with high-altitude travel and will advise the group accordingly. If you have any heart or respiratory conditions, please consult your doctor before booking.
India has an abundance of vegetarian food and our welcome dinner, farewell dinner and daily hotel breakfasts are included. Lunches and most other meals are not included, allowing you flexibility to explore local cuisine. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free requirements can be accommodated — please let us know at the time of booking so we can prepare accordingly.
Simply fill in the enquiry form on this page and our team will get back to you within 24 hours with full pricing, availability and next steps. A deposit is required to confirm your place, with the balance due closer to the departure date. Places are limited, so we recommend enquiring early to avoid disappointment.
Our cancellation policy is detailed in your booking confirmation. Generally, cancellations made more than 60 days before departure receive a partial refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 60 days may forfeit the deposit. We strongly recommend travel insurance that includes cancellation cover. Please contact us directly for the full terms and conditions.
