Schedule of Rishikesh Tour Packages
Day 01 : Arrival
On arrival at Delhi airport, we will depart for Rishikesh. After Check in at Hotel, we will have Introduction and briefing of the tour along with a group welcome dinner.
Day 2 Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula town
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we will start our day with local sightseeing on foot. First, we will go to Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula and spend some time there seeing the famous places around. Built in 1986, Ram jhula is an iconic landmark of Rishikesh while Lakshman Jhula was built in 1929. It is said that Lakshman crossed the river Ganga on jute ropes in this place. On either side of river Ganga, there are many Hindu ashrams and religious centers. We will take part in Ganga Aarti in the evening at Ram Jhula. Then we will have dinner at the hotel and take rest in the night.
Day 3 Vasishta Meditation Cave
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start our day with a visit to Vashisth Cave and waterfall. Vashistha Cave or Vashishta Gufa is an ancient cave where great Sage Vashishtha meditated here for a long time. According to Hindu mythology, Guru Vashistha was a manas Putra (human son) of Lord Brahma and one of the seven great sages (Saptarishi). Located at a distance of 25 km from Rishikesh on Badrinath road, Vashistha Cave is popular among visitors coming for deep meditation in Rishikesh.

Day 4 Sunrise at the Kunjapuri Temple
25 km north of Rishikesh – in the Himalayas, Kunjapuri soars 1645 meters high to commemorate Goddess Shakti and Lord Shiva idols. Awaken one’s spirituality with snow-capped Himalayan Mountains’ vistas and sacred surroundings at sunrise or sunset. We will wake up early in morning for a day trek to Kunjapuri, driving one hour from Rishikesh to the temple to enjoy the sunrise. In between, we can enjoy freshly brewed Tea and breakfast. After one hour we will trek down to Rishikesh via forest. In the evening we will have a private meeting with a spiritual Guru.
Day 5 Rafting through the gorge
After Breakfast, we will start our adventure trip by rafting through the gorges. We will return in the afternoon for lunch. Later in the day tourists will have free time to do things as they please. Only a few rivers in the world have the same mystique as that of the River Ganga. Rafting on this sacred water is certainly a lifetime experience.
Day 6 Buddhist Monastery
Next day after Breakfast we leave for a full day Buddhist monastery trip. We would become familiar with the teachings of Buddhism. Buddha Temple is a Tibetan monastery, also called ‘Mindrolling Monastery’ and was built in 1965 by his eminence the Kochen Rinpoche and few other monks for the promotion and protection of religious & cultural understanding of Buddhist monks.
Day 7 Famous Beatles Ashram
On the 7th day of Rishikesh tour, we would visit Beatles ashram. The English rock band Beatles visited here in 1968 to attend advanced Transcendental Meditation Yoga course at the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s ashram. Locally known as Chaurasi Kutia, it now features Beatles graffiti and art. Settled within the Rajaji National park, River Ganga flows quietly behind it.
In the evening there will be a meeting with Yogi Master Swami Ram Kripalu Das Ji. He went in search of his master at sixteen years of age. After some wanderings to pilgrimages, he reached Uttarkashi and then went to Gomukh to surrender himself at the feet of His Holiness Sri Vishnu Das Ji.
Day 8 Holy Haridwar
On the 8th day of the Rishikesh tour we will visit Haridwar. Referred to as the door to God Hari (God Vishnu) this is one of the seven holiest places of Hindus. According to the Samudra Manthan, Haridwar is one the four places (Haridwar, Ujjain, Nasik and Prayag (Allahabad)) where drops of Amrit, the elixir of immortality.
Day 9 Activities at your leisure

Day 11 Shopping Tour in Delhi
After breakfast we will leave for Delhi. Reaching there, we’ll check in hotel and then proceed to Janpath, a popular shopping in Delhi. Janpath is famous for selling traditional items and every other thing one can think of. It’s a perfect place to buy souvenir gifts to take back home.
Day 12 Taj Mahal
This last day of our tour we will leave early morning for Agra city to visit symbol the of love – Taj Mahaj, the eighth wonder of the world. In the evening we will return to Delhi.
