Schedule of Road Trip to Ladakh

Day 01 : Delhi to Chandigarh
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, meet our tour representative, who will assist you in taking an onward connection to Chandigarh. On arrival at Chandigarh airport, check in and rest a few hours in the hotel.
Meet and greet with our Tour Leader, who will provide a detailed description of the entire tour and proceed for sightseeing around the picturesque city.
Day 2 Chandigarh to Manali
In the morning enjoy breakfast in Chandigarh.
Drive 300 kms to Manali, which is at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,726 ft.) in the Beas River Valley. This hill station is nestled in the Himalayan mountains of Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal is famous for adventure tourism like trekking, climbing, rafting and skiing. Studded with beautiful apple orchards, tourists often visit various temples, experience local village life and relax in the many hot springs in the region.


Day 3 Manali Sightseeing
Sightseeing around Old Manali town.
Rejuvenate at Hot Springs in The Vashist Temple in District Kullu, 6 kms away from Manali town.
For the more adventurous travellers, we provide a wide variety of adventure activities including trekking, paragliding, camping, rafting etc.
Day 4 Manali to Jispa
Start your journey on the Himalayas in 4×4 vehicles.
Travel across Rohtang Pass at 3978 m (13127 ft.) to reach Jispa at a height of 3300 m (11000 ft.) in Lahaul district.


Day 5 Jispa to Sarchu
After breakfast drive to Sarchu.
Cross Baralacha La at 4830 m (15840 ft.) and reach the windswept Sarchu landscape at 4253 m (13953 ft.) overnight in deluxe camps. In the evening, enjoy bonfire with snacks.
Day 6 Sarchu to Leh
After breakfast in the camp, drive to the last leg of Leh through the many changing landscapes and high mountain passes. Reach Leh after crossing Gata Loops, Lachunglang La 5019 m (16560 ft.), Pang, Moore Plains, Tanglang La 5360 m (17688 ft.) and Rumtse.
On arrival check in to hotel for overnight stay.


Day 7 Leh City
In Leh, relax in the hotel and get acclimatized to the high altitude and the rarified air.
In evening explore the famous Shanti Stupa.
Day 8 Leh Sightseeing
Visit the Sankar Gompa, Namgyal Gompa and the Leh Palace.


Day 9 Leh Sightseeing
After Breakfast get all set for a full day tour of the Indus Valley.
Visit the Himis Monastery, the Royal Museum at Stok Palace and also the Thiksey Monastery, which belongs to the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. This Gompa is the largest monastery in central Ladakh region.
Day 10 Leh Sightseeing
Visit Stagna Monastery placed on a barren mountain top; Changchubling monastery, better known as Rizong monastery, famous for its high standards of monastic disciplines and the two well known monasteries – Alchi monastery and Likir Monastery.


Day 11 Leh to Pangong Lake
Drive eastwards of Leh crossing Changla Pass at 5360 m (17590 ft.). Drive via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Arrive at Pangong Lake in the morning. This picturesque lake is at an altitude of 4400 m. (14435 ft.)
Set up camp near the lake side for overnight stay in tents. Shared between India and China, this lake is blessed with enchanting surroundings.
Day 12 Back to Leh City
Start your day early when the surroundings of the lake look even more beautiful. Later take a leisurely drive back to Leh city.


Day 13 Free n’ Easy in Delhi
After breakfast fly back to Delhi and enjoy a full day sightseeing tour covering Lotus Temple, India Gate, Akshardham Temple.
Later in the evening transfer is provided to airport to board flight for onward journey .
